Seichim Reiki
Seichim is an Egyptian word (pronounced "say-keem") literally meaning "living light energy" as well
as referring to the ancient Egyptian system of healing wisdom, and it is a form of Reiki commonly
found in Egypt.
On our Egypt tour there are several popular highlights including a Nile cruise, the Sound and Light
Show and a visit to a Reiki Master who lives quite close to the Pyramids at Giza.
In ancient times the Goddess Sekhmet was considered to be the Mother of the Gods and was known as
The Great One of Healing. Her magician-priests were the greatest of all healers and her son,
Nefartem was the God of physicians.
Seichim is the way of accessing the energy of the Great Mother and forms a path to deeper
self-realisation and empowerment as it balances and aligns the yin-yang of our being on physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual levels.
Seichim is not about power or dominance of one person over another - but it is about balance and
harmony and the path to enlightenment and spiritual actualisation.
Seichim is a potent energy and should be approached with respect and preferably the assistance of
an experienced practitioner.
It is thought that the knowledge of Seichim was translated in Egypt by a Buddhist monk and taken
back to the East where it spread to India and Japan, eventually becoming known there as Reiki.
Now Seichim is widely practised and often sought after by visitors as part of their Egypt tour and
Nile cruise.
