10 Day Egypt Tour Itinerary
On arrival to Cairo International Airport you will be met and assisted through customs and immigration formalities.
Transfer to hotel for a traditional welcome, check in.
Day 1 - Friday
- Possibility of entry to Great Pyramid (OPTIONAL)
- Entrance to the Solar Boat located beside the Great Pyramid
- Camel ride (OPTIONAL)
- Lunch at Sakkara Café restaurant, a typical Egyptian Restaurant.
- Return to hotel for relaxing afternoon.
- Evening Sound and Light show at the pyramids area.
- Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Saturday
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Start our visit to the Citadel, Mohamed Ali's mosque, the Coptic area including St. Sergius church, the
Hanging Church and the Jewish Synagogue. After a panoramic view of the city of the dead, lunch will be served
at the Al Azhar Park restaurant overlooking Old Cairo and the Mamluk mosques.
- Transfer to an Essence Parlour for Egyptian perfume and natural essential oils, followed by a healing session
with an Egyptian Reiki Master. Private healings can be arranged.
- Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Sunday
- Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit to the site of the ancient city of Memphis, the necropolis of Sakkara, and the Great pyramid of Dahshur.
- Lunch at Sakkara Café restaurant, a typical Egyptian Restaurant.
- Return to hotel for relaxing afternoon.
- Back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Monday
- Early morning transfer direct to Cairo airport for our flight to Luxor - (55 mins)
- Visit Karnak temple, including a visit to Goddess Sekhmet's chapel which is a very spiritual place for meditation.
- Transfer to the cruise ship for check in and lunch.
- Afternoon tea served on sundeck.
- Visit a local Papyrus gallery to see a demonstration of the ancient way of making Egyptian Papyrus.
- Evening horse carriage ride to a typical Luxor Souk, includes drink and water pipe at local café.
- Evening visit to Luxor temple.
- Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 5 - Tuesday
- Buffet breakfast at hotel
- Possibility of enjoying a balloon ride over the West Bank monuments. (OPTIONAL)
- Transfer to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens.
- Continue visiting the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Medinet Habu temple.
- Return to the ship for lunch.
- Start sailing towards Esna Lock.
- Pass the Lock and continue sailing to Edfu.
- Dinner and overnight in Edfu
Day 6 - Wednesday
- Buffet breakfast on cruise ship.
- Departure by horse carriages to visit the temple of God Horus in Edfu.
- Upon return, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
- Lunch served on board.
- Upon arrival, (walking distance 5 minutes) visit the temple of Kom Ombo and continue sailing to Aswan.
- Afternoon tea served on sundeck.
- Fancy dress party in the evening on our cruise ship. Gallabayah's can be purchased in the markets or on board.
- Dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 7 - Thursday
- Buffet breakfast on cruise ship.
- Early morning visit by motorboat to the Isle of Philae to visit the temple of Goddess Isis and enjoy a
meditation session at her sanctuary. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, granite quarries and the Aswan High Dam.
- Back to the ship for lunch.
- Afternoon Felucca ride to visit the Botanical garden, continue by motorboat to a Nubian village.
- Back to the ship.
- Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 - Friday
- Buffet breakfast on cruise ship.
- Check out and transfer to airport for flight to Abu Simbel.
- Upon arrival, visit the temples of Rameses II and his favourite wife Nefertari.
- Return back to airport for flight to Cairo.
- Check into the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 - Saturday
- Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
- Transfer to the Egyptian museum of antiquities, and scroll through the famous Tutankamun's treasures,
Akhnaton's hall, Old and Middle Kingdom halls, as well as the hall of the recent acquisitions. Possibility
to visit to the Mummies room upon request. (OPTIONAL)
- Lunch at Naguib Mahfouz Restaurant
- Continue to Khan El Khallili Bazaar for last minute shopping.
- Back to hotel for relaxing or free time.
- Dinner and overnight.
Day 10 - Sunday
- Buffet breakfast at hotel.
- Transfer to Cairo Airport for international flight.

any of a range of factors outside our control cause problems with the operation of this package. Our aim is to
