Day 1 – Monday 05 February 2007
Arrival to Cairo international airport.
Meet and assist through customs and immigration formalities.
Transfer to hotel for a traditional welcome, check in and brief rest.
Guide’s briefing on program and visits.
Visit the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.
Possibility of entry to Great Pyramid and/or the Solar Boat located beside the Great Pyramid and/or camel ride. (OPTIONAL)
Lunch at a typical Egyptian Restaurant.
Possibility of attending Sound and Light show at the pyramids area. (OPTIONAL)
Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Tuesday 06 February 2007
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day visit to the Citadel, Mohamed Ali's mosque, the Coptic area including St. Sergius church, the Hanging Church and the Jewish Synagogue. After a panoramic view of the city of the dead, lunch will be served at the new Al Azhar Park restaurant overlooking Old Cairo and the Mamluk mosques.
Continue to the Egyptian museum of antiquities, and scroll through the famous Tutankamun’s treasures, Akhnaton’s hall, Old and Middle Kingdom halls, as well as the hall of the recent acquisitions. Possibility to visit to the Mummies room upon request. (OPTIONAL)
Back to hotel for short rest.
Transfer to an Essence Parlour for Egyptian perfume and natural essential oils, followed by a healing session with an Egyptian Reiki Master. Private healings can be arranged.
Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Wednesday 07 February 2007
Buffet breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Alexandria by road.
Upon arrival, visit the Catacumbs, Pompey's pillar, and the Roman theatre.
Lunch at the Fish Market restaurant.
Visit King Faruk's gardens, the Greco Roman museum and the Alexandrian library.
Dinner at San Giovanni restaurant.
Back to Cairo and overnight.
Day 4 – Thursday 08 February 2007
Buffet breakfast at hotel.
Check out of hotel and start our Safari trip to Bahareya Oasis.
This day has been dedicated to the visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies – one of the incredible recent discoveries of ancient Egypt in the Bahariya Oasis, 4 hours from Cairo.
On arrival, check into hotel and lunch.
Visit to Golden Mummies and the Museum of the recent discoveries, Qasr Selim and the ruins of Alexander’s temple, Roman fountain, and the old town.
On completion we will enjoy the beauty of the sunset from the English House (the highest point covering the whole oasis).
Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Friday 09 February 2007
Breakfast at hotel.
Early morning drive to White Desert, on the way we will stop by the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, El Agabat.
Picnic lunch in El Haza.
After lunch, continue our drive to New White Desert where we will camp the night in true Bedouin tradition.
Dinner will be served followed by local Bedwin Show.
Day 6 – Saturday 10 February 2007
Early morning transfer direct to Cairo airport for our flight to Luxor – (55 mins)
Visit Karnak temple, starting with a meditation session at Goddess Sekhmet’s chapel. Continue towards Luxor temple.
Transfer to hotel for rest of day at leisure to relax by the pool and enjoy the views.
Free afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Sunday 11 February 2007
After breakfast, we transfer by bus passing through Nag Hammadi, which is an important agricultural centre, otherwise known for its past association with Gnostic Gospels.
Our destination will be Abydos, one of Egypt’s most spellbinding spots. Here we will visit the temple of Seti I, which is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt.
We will continue our tour to Dendera, where we will visit the temple of Hathor, the goddess of love and beauty.
After our sightseeing and enjoying the stories associated with this ancient temple, we will transfer back to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Monday 12 February 2007
Buffet breakfast at hotel
Possibility of enjoying a balloon ride over the West Bank monuments. (OPTIONAL)
Transfer to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens.
Continue visiting the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Medinet Habu temple.
Transfer to the cruise ship for check in and lunch.
Afternoon tea served on sundeck.
Visit to local Papyrus gallery.
Possibility of a horse carriage ride to a typical Luxor Souk, includes drink and water pipe at local café. (OPTIONAL)
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 9 – Tuesday 13 February 2007
Buffet breakfast on cruise ship.
Morning is dedicated to a visit to the Luxor Museum and the recently inaugurated nave with its latest acquisitions.
Return to the ship and start sailing towards Esna Lock.
Lunch on board the ship.
Pass the Lock and continue sailing to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight in Edfu
Day 10 – Wednesday 14 February 2007
Buffet breakfast on cruise ship.
Departure by horse carriages to visit the temple of God Horus in Edfu.
Upon return, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch served on board.
Upon arrival, (walking distance 5 minutes) visit the temple of Kom Ombo and continue sailing to Aswan.
Afternoon tea served on sundeck.
Dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 11 – Thursday 15 February 2007
Buffet breakfast on cruise ship.
Early morning visit by motorboat to the Isle of Philae to visit the temple of Goddess Isis and enjoy a meditation session at her sanctuary. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, granite quarries and the Aswan High Dam.
Back to the ship for lunch.
Afternoon Felucca ride to visit the Botanical garden, continue by motorboat to a Nubian village.
Back to the ship.
Last night on board our cruise ship is fancy dress. Gallabayah’s can be purchased in the markets or on board.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 12 – Friday 16 February 2007
Early morning check out/departure with breakfast boxes to Abu Simbel. (2 Options for Convoy departures: 04.30am or 11.00am)
Upon arrival, visit the temples of Rameses II and his favourite wife Nefertari.
Transfer to hotel for rest or a swim in the hotel pool.
Evening transfer to attend the Sound and Light show.
Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 13 – Saturday 17 February 2007
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Check out of hotel.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Cairo via Aswan.
Continue visit to the necropolis of Sakkara, the site of the ancient city of Memphis and the recently opened site of Abusir.
Check into the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 14 – Sunday 18 February 2007
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Khan El Khallili Bazaar for last minute shopping.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Back to hotel for relaxing or free time.

Day 15 – Monday 19 February 2007
